Coming into the match we knew that we had solid strats from beating Agnostic Onslaught 13-1. Since menarche decided to show up in time for the match, we let him take sLim's spot as RPG, which we believed was the easiest spot to cover north.

However we started on assault with me and plague going to take Blackhawk and watch the windows. In the meantime menarche and alkali strolled north to control the rush and cover either me or plague while we secured the Blackhawk. During our first two rounds of assault we had close rounds in only successfully taking one of them. Our communication and sync pushing the pilot was very disturbed due to their randomized roamer and awkward spots around corners. Alkali and plague always got picked off every round before we got a coordinated push. Rounds with me and menarche 2v4-ing were difficult but we managed to take some of them out. Disappointed after 5 defeats on assault, we were left decimated in enthusiasm but swapping to defence we were very confident in our ability to hold this extremely one-sided map.

First round on defence was an easy wrap with alkali picking off two opfor's and menerche blowing one up one that rushed north. Lastly plague finished it off by taking out the last one with no effort. Second round came to us as a scare when menarche was under fire and got shot. I shifted over and picked off a rusher and later prefired a sneaking proner around the backside of the building. After that the rounds cam smoothly and we finished off the match with a close 7-5 win. Good games r2d, you almost had us.

Final Score: 7-5 [iCe]

Weaspons Cache vs. RB

We started off this week scrimming as if we were playing some cal-i team for the match and evidently we weren't. Just a little summary of the strat we were going to call for assault by menarche's intelligent self; he called the 4 man main bum rush against n2p and all I have to is the next thing we knew the 203 was the last won alive after 15 seconds of the round. A round of applause to menarche! In the scrims we played we were having a difficult time communicating and being consistent toward over 2 SR and 2 north strategy. However after about 5-6 scrims our fluency improved.

Lets cut to the cheese. or should I say donuts for Unit. The match was against [RB] on Weapons Cache. Not the keep your time, i'll sum up the match in one word:RAPE But the real drama started after the match when [RB], like douchebags, reported
a 12-0 win for themselves. We complained to fd.mulgarus and blah, blah and after about 1 day they changed the score.

Final Score: 12-0 [-iCe.]

gg's to [RB] for being immature idiots.

TWL talks bout iCe

Division 2

Possibly the most stacked division in the Open league, division two's top three teams all boast 7-1 league records going into week nine. Ice Cold Gaming currently sits atop the division. This team has a record at CAL of 2 wins, 3 losses. Their record at TWL: 7-1. What is the difference between the two teams? Ice has picked up Plague, formerly ENE/Audigy, and has iN[Remix] ringing for TWL matches. They can be expected to come ready to play for most any match and will be a force to contend with during playoffs.

uNit: "What a crap load we had proximation and still have con(which i think can beat almost any open team) in our division. And why does everyone think rmX is amazing LoL.

TWL Week 8 vs coN

Okay so this is the first match I have got to play with iCe. I brought in some help from c3 to analyze our situation during scrims. Came down to comms, and teamwork... basic right? We scrimmed about 10-15 times in the last week working up for this match. Comms went from no one identifying anything to radar and teamwork wasnt that shabby. As dyno about his ass being saved... mentioned later.Conviction was spotted in the server early going over shit thanks to scorebot. Conviction is one of the more solid teams in open and will give anyone in open a run for their money.
